Unbelievable Lease offers on 2015 C7's

Hi 567Chevy,

The vehicle is listed at $ 91844 + taxes. Since its a retail unit no price protection is applicable.

With the new price increase effective April 1st it would cost $103800 including 13% HST in Ontario.

The specs are as follows:

2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible
  • 3LT with Z51 (with PDR & Nav)
  • Manual Transmission
  • Black on Black with Black Top (GT Bucket Seats)
  • Magnetic Ride Control
  • Chrome Wheels
  • Red Calipers
  • Battery Maintainence Kit
  • Carbon Fibre Instrument Panel

Thanks for clearing that up for me, I had no idea. Mine is '14 coupe, Z51, M7, 3LT, mag ride, black wheels, NPP (was an option on Z51 in '14), and it was $71,500.

Hi 567 Chevy,

The prices have definitely gone up afew times. However even last year a similarly equipped 3LT Z51 Convertible would have been priced around $80000 but it wouldn't be available with a PDR.

Owais I put in my car yesterday on the build site at GM , am I right that the ZF1 option which was priced at $2100 last year is now $3670? That is quite the jump.

I note the price of the base C7 is up $8810 before options since last year when I bought, with the increase in freight $9010 , year over year. We are getting back to the same situation with the C6 where the Cdn cars were way over the price of the U.S vehicles.

@C7Driver: The price of the ZF1 Package is still $ 2095 as of today. However I think you also picked a set of Black Machined Aluminum Z51 wheels which is an extra $ 1575 bringing it to $ 3670.

If you pick the standard Silver Painted Aluminum Z51 wheels then the price of ZF1 package remains at $ 2095.

Hope this helps.

Does this mean that my 2014 Z51 conv' sitting under the car cover till spring has not depreciated? With the cost increase by GM it should be still worth the 72,000.00 all in price that I paid last June---lol

@MRACER: You might actually be right. It will depend if its a manual or Auto transmission. The Auto Transmissions have taken a bit of a hit bc of a 6 speed transmission where as now they only have 8 speed auto transmission in 2015.

Performance figures do not seem to give an advantage to the 8 sp. Seems it was a way to gain on the CAFE rules for GM..I could be wrong.
but more speeds do not equate to more speed...

Having spent a lifetime on the race track I know that the only way to compare 2 cars is on the same day on the same track- Individual performance vids mean nothing to me...just sayin
