Just back from sunny Florida ....... dont hate on me too much .... I have property there and not gonna forget about it just because of an a**hole in the white house .

No issues at the boarder and the people were super nice ... most even apologized for Mr Orange ... Bonita beach was amazing as usual

However .....Drove the C8 yesterday for the first time in over a month and the front driver turn signal crapped out ...

Gave a warning in the info center to " check front left turn signal "

Anyone had this issue ? ... Would it be covered under the extended warranty ?.....Is the fix very intrusive ?

Checked youtube .... nothing .... even searched this forum .... nothing came up

Any help would be greatly appreciated ... ;)

If it's the light itself, from what I've heard, one has to replace the whole front light and it's not cheap.
@LeDon should be able to answer your question about the extended warranty.
Maybe @Mr.Corvette can help there also.

Welcome back ! I’d suggest doing a search with Perplexity but I can hear the derisive flak already…….usually from those who trust and get most of their information from the “ experts “ on Facebook , lol.
Found this on Facebook……

The most common reasons the front directional (turn signal) light on a C8 Corvette might not be working include issues with the hazard switch, the multifunction switch (turn signal switch) in the steering column, a blown bulb, or wiring/socket problems.
Key troubleshooting points:
• The hazard switch is a frequent failure point that can cause the front turn signals not to work while hazards still do. Replacing or reseating this switch often fixes the issue.
• The multifunction switch inside the steering column, which controls blinkers and brakes, can also cause intermittent or no front turn signal operation.
• Checking the bulbs and sockets for corrosion, burned contacts, or heat damage is important as this can prevent the signal light from illuminating.
• Wiring issues could be the culprit if the bulbs and controls test good.
• Sometimes, tapping or reseating the flasher switch or the hazard switch temporarily restores function, indicating a failing switch.
• The front turn signal bulbs on some Corvette models may be prone to heat damage, leading to failure.
If replacement is needed, the hazard switch or multifunction switch are common parts to consider. The bulbs used for the front signal lights are typically 3157 type for C6/C7 but might differ for C8, which uses integrated LED modules.

Everything related to the "turn signal bulb" above doesn't apply to the C8. As stated, the turn signal is an LED module. I believe the only way to replace it is to replace the entire headlight / DRL / turn signal unit. I don't think individual parts are available, the the light assembly is a "sealed" unit. It's pretty intrusive: the entire front fascia needs to come off to get at it.

Service manuals are available on CD ROM on ebay. They're bootleg, they seem to not always include every page, and there are no hyperlinks as there are in the official manual. But they're cheap. You didn't mention the year, but Helm, Inc. has a printed manual (about 7500 pages!!) set (only for 2020, I think), and a thumb drive version for one or two years.

Delco sells access to the same online service manual that Chevy dealers use. You can get a 3 day subscription for $22 US:

Site Maintenance (https://www.acdelcotds.com/subscriptions) (almost all the way to the bottom).

Alldata also has online service manuals. I've not used them, but they're supposed to be as complete as the AC Delco ones for less money:

Good luck

I think you’ll see that above it does say that bulb replacement doesn’t apply to the C8 as it uses integrated led’s .

Yea the biggest fear .....

Made an appointment with Humberview for Tuesday ..... I wouldnt mess with that myself

This fix should be covered under the extended warranty .... mine is a '21 the warranty I bought was a bumper to bumper until july 28 2028 or 100k

My C8 only has like 6 k on it so i'm well within

I'll report back as to what they say ......

Hopefully it won’t take long to get the part and fix the problem. Good luck with it .

Yea ... like I said ... checked youtube and all that comes up is those light bars that run on the front grill trim piece o_O

Not much info on this issue anywhere ....

Thanks for the vote of confidence ..... ;)

Quick update on the signal situation ......

The car was failing right up until I pulled into the service entrance .... left the car ... found out my extended warranty had a 100 $ deductible ...

Any how several hours later got a call from the service advisor .... " no trouble found " .... what ?!

They kept the car overnight to see if it would fail in the morning ... nothing .... the tech said he could not re create the problem .

Went to pick it up .... they didnt charge me anything .... and on the way home it was fine ... took it for a long cruise last night and both signals operated normally ....

Mystery ............

Sounds like a loose connection but you would think they would check that first. Very strange. Hopefully it won’t happen again……
