TT Z06.

With tunning available got both ECM and TCM, it is more reliable.
However, I would keep it below 5 psi for reliability stand point. That should put in into the low 800whp range I think.
Z06 TX is beefier than the Stingray I believe but maybe not made for that kind of HP and torque. Just saying. Especially if you load it up at the local strip every weekend.
 
I believe the Z06 and ZR1 share the same DCT with different map.
Still doesn't directly answer the question but , yes, the C8 Corvette Z06 uses the same basic Tremec TR-9080 eight-speed dual-clutch transmission architecture as the Stingray, but it is substantially reinforced and calibrated differently.
The shorter Z06 final drive helps the high-revving 5.5-liter LT6 reach its power band more quickly, while the stronger clutch and driveline components handle its higher power and track use.
So, it is not simply the Stingray transmission with different software or gearing: the Z06 unit is a stronger M1M variant with several internal and structural upgrades. The gear ratios themselves are broadly similar, but the final-drive ratio is different.

No, the Z06 transmission is not the same as the ZR1 transmission, although they are closely related.
C8 Z06: Tremec TR-9080 DCT, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
C8 ZR1: An upgraded/high-strength version of the same basic Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch architecture, revised to handle the LT7 twin-turbo V8’s much greater torque.
C8 ZR1X: Uses the ZR1’s upgraded rear DCT, combined with an electric front drive unit.
So the accurate answer is: same fundamental type and family, but not identical internally. The ZR1 transmission has stronger components and calibration to cope with roughly 1,064 hp and much higher torque.
 
personally i think the DCT will hold up fine if you stick to the 6psi of boost, and get on the throttle while moving. Still have to study some dyno curves of these new TT kits but i suspect two things.

1. the TQ is nowhere near the 828+ a zr1 has cause we just aren't in the realm of 20psi and that's a good thing since the z06 doesn't have the beefier forged internals to even think of handling that at its higher compression with it being developed as an NA engine.
2. if the boosted z06 is running closer to 500 ft lbs rear wheel and combined with tuning ecu and tcu tuning there's probably a better chance of longevity out of the DCT with proper clutch pressure being matched to the modified engine power output and so likely less clutch wear with less slip.

reaching the zr1 threshold of busting 1000 hp with only 5 to 7psi without ramping up octane to race fuel i think is going to be a real stretch if not a significant hit to reliability. secondly, if you try to hit the strip and come hot out of holeshot with launch control i don't think the dct is going to live long even with optimized ECU and TCU tuning.

but as an 800 or maybe even 850 on some octane 94 as a beefed up canyon carver with ecu and tcu tune, i think that could be the final GOD MODE for the C8 Z06. Time will tell while others test it out but it is rather exciting that you lose none of the z06 NA wail and just add whistle in a tuned 992.1 sort of way/sound and the car becomes "violent" with readily deployable torque from the zero lag of the spool of these little spooly boys on the tail end of the bumper.

i honestly think that aftermarket is now making where chevy is likely to go with the C9 Z06 as a baby boosty boi vs the C9 ZR1 coming over the top again with yet the largest hairdryers ever mated to an FPC.

time will tell.
