As you wrote, and I agree, the designs are improving. I am not against EVs, I think we should wait for all the glitchs to be resolved before moving forward in our instance. On another note, we here in Quebec are fortunate to produce our electrical power by water powered dams, very clean and efficient, so an EV vehicle is a super choice for our environment. However, in places like the Central United States, coal is the primary source of energy to produce electricity. With a huge population of EVs in their locale, how much more coal has to be burned (and increased pollution) to support the present day requirements plus an influx of EV charging stations. Not such an efficient choice now.Also, in high crime areas, how do you plug in your car overnite and hope nobody tampers with the connection?
