Here are some pics of the Z06 at the show.

A few thoughts:

-the DSOM was very nice, the picture does not really do it justice.
-the coupe has comp seats, the vert has GT seats, if anyone is looking for a quick comparison.
-the Z06 is cordoned off so you can't sit in it. The GM rep tending the Z06 said that all Z06's coming to Canada over the next two years are spoken for (don't know if valid but worth mentioning).

It was nice to get out of the cold and sit in a Vette: have a C7 on order from City Buick/Chev in Toronto, ordered in November and was advised it would arrive in 4 to 6 months. From what I read on this blog, there are no guarantees!

Cheers,

Interesting you mention the opportunity to check out the competition seats vs GT. I'm 6"2, 200 Lbs..... found a huge difference...the GT seats actually being much more comfortable.... a slight bit wider...and I thought the napa was very nice.
Also... interesting to check out the suede steering wheel vs leather... the suede would definitely not be for everyone... or my choice.

Also interesting to note that the line-ups to sit in the Vette's (you can sit in both the vert and the coupe) were the longest we saw at the show. GM rep (I wish I got his name) was extremely pleasant and very enthusiastic about the vehicle... but obviously guarded about availability of 2015's. And he admitted that dealers wouldn't be taking orders yet for '16's as they haven't yet received their allotments.

Yes thanks for the pics and the info about the interior. As mentioned this gives the opportunity to sit in both the seats and see the suede wheel and shift boot and set inserts first hand.

I am very likely to get a DSOM Z06 Vert, as long as the 2016 Humberview list thing works out, so seeing that color in person is worth the trip.

Thanks for uploading the pics. I was hoping they would have a torch red and an arctic white, the two most popular colours. I ordered mine in AW, but really curious to see a torch red in the flesh... it might change my mind.

I'd be concerned with the suede wheel absorping sweat from my hands. The leather I could just wipe off.

My thoughts were the same, I also found a difference in the seats. I'm average 5'11" 185lbs and found the competition seats a bit tight. My preference would be the GT seats, they were more comfortable. And the suede steering wheel... not for me.

Think I got it this time:

Look's like you were there when there was no crowd. There was a lineup to sit inside the car when we went, and not opportunity to take any decent pics.

The goal was for my wife to actually see the car and sit inside. We had ordered the car without actually being able to see it in person. Glad they had a variety to check out and compare. The Chevrolet staff there were also very helpful and spent a bit of time answering all our questions.

The only mood point was that my wife really liked the Z06, too bad they are impossible to get.
