Time for summer tires???

If they were standard rims, which I assume yours are, nobody would go the length of lawyering up but he's talking about a $20,000 claim. If I were the municipality, I might pay up the cost of two stock rims and that's all.
Not standard, but not 20K worth either. I think they paid around 2500 if memory serves.
Durham region has a fund they set aside for this stuff. I'm guessing most regions likely do.
 
on 4th line of Oro/Medonte-backcountry road-my fault just not paying attention to lousy road-just seating in rims to check wheel torque settings-so first drive of 2026 on carbon rims which came on car, not my choice, but loved the look-ah well no more unless I find some equally unfortunate soul with a good set of a front and a rear carbon fiber rim! Probably end up with just a set of black oem rims like my winter tires have. Definitely a depressing first summer wheel drive for this year!
