I'm not a Lawyer, so take whatever I say here with a grain of salt.
In my opinion, submitting only the picture, without the full video, shows nothing other than a picture of yet another pothole.
You need the video to try to prove your car actually hit it (which it certainly sounds like it did).
Also, removing the video is almost an admission of guilt that you did something wrong (speeding, in your case).
The 'other' Lawyer will ask for the video during discoveries, so you may as well offer it upfront.
The other issue, and one that I see working for you, is that the municipality fixed the potholes immediately.
They obviously knew it was a problem or they would not have fixed it.
Prepare yourself for an argument by the 'others' that you should not be driving a car with specialty rims on anything other than a pristine highway.
Thousands of vehicles have travelled the same road without a problem.
Go sue G.M. for selling you rims that cannot withstand a simple pothole.
My experience with Lawyers has always ended the same way - a settlement.
There is never a 'right' or 'wrong', but rather an amount that will bring the case to an end.
Good luck to you.
Keep us posted.
