All I can say about this C8 is WOW! This is a gigantic step forward by Chevrolet. I owned three C7’s including a fully loaded 3LT Z51 with magnetic ride. This base C8 handles significantly better than the C7 due to the mid engine design. I can’t wait to reach the break in period.

I have always owned manual transmission sports cars. Let me tell you that I don’t miss it at all with this dual clutch transmission. Shifts so much faster and smoothly. I haven’teven used the paddles yet and will wait until she is broken in before I do.

Plus have I said how sexy this car is! I mean I actually saw two Lambos today and thought my C8 looked better lol. Yes I know I am delusional! But seriously I have owned many beautiful German sports cars and I have never had the attention and positive comments that this car attracts. I know....I am gushing over this car.

What a bargain for $72000! The only thing is that these side view mirrors really stick out so I need to fold them before I park in my garage. You need the oversized mirrors for visibility. I see the benefit of the 2 LT package for the power folding mirrors. Also I think that the lift system is a good idea although I was too cheap to get it because down the road it is just another part to fail.

I have two firm buyers however my wife and I are thinking of keeping it because it is so amazing. That and the fact that GM is blacklisting people if they sell the car before 12 months of ownership. It is being done to avoid exporters taking them overseas.
