The only place where this “later in the east” rule seems to flip is around the International Date Line (~180° longitude):
Crossing the line eastward, you subtract a day (go back one calendar date).
Crossing the line westward, you add a day (jump forward one calendar date).
Even there, though, local clock time still increases as you go east within each side; the date line just adjusts the calendar day so the global system stays consistent.
So for everyday purposes: yes, it’s always later in the east than in the west.

Hmmmmmm.... 4 Swiss Sitkin ST157 turboprop planes have landed at Cold Lake, AB. This is the model plane that are to replace the Cdn CT-114 Tutor Snowbirds.

I am pretty sure I saw one at the Gatineau Air Show along with the Snowbirds. I prefer the snowbirds as a jet airplane versus this one.
