Customer selectable vin, $ 5750. I think I would settle for what ever vin comes with the car. That seems insane to pick out a vin #

I think it’s a great option. Nobody is forcing it on you. Variety is excellent.

A few of us might agree the selectable VIN ... is merely just another way to "specialize" your ownership.
No different than perhaps supercharging a Stingray or adding Carbon Fibre ... which is much more costly.
We are blessed with some interesting choices ... which is what I think really matters ... making Corvette Ownership even better.

I want to make sure I understand: when I order my C8 - Z51 $5900 + another $2180 for MRC = $7595 - ouch. Use to be able to order MRC as a separate option. Probably $5K for a convertible - know Oct. 2nd. Add on carbon fiber interior trim of $1695 with 2 LT Pkg. = probably $94K + paint upgrade - not too bad, I guess? I think I will go totally black - everything including brake calipers; what do you think Derek?

I've seen a pic of what the Z06 may look like - awesome - really looks wild and like the beast it will be.
