It was the battery after all folks. I tested myself and had it confirmed by a shop. In the end I replaced it with a Red Top. No issues since. Man I love this car!
 
Glad to hear it was solved and you can enjoy your car worry free! I think I am due for a Red Top as mine appears to be slowly losing the power it once had. Not all due to the battery though, when I first got the car and put it in storage for 2 months I forgot to turn off my satellite radio and killed the battery deader than dead. Whoops! Anyway, 4 hours of charging, the car fired up and has been absolutely fine until this Spring 5 years later. Red Tops are not known for coming back to life after being fully drained, however, mine did, I am happy with it and would buy one again!
