Interesting that the Insurance Company had paid the claim out many years ago but still returned the car to her.

Great story, car looks to be in very good shape. You have to wonder where it has been hiding all these years, maybe not hiding at all.
 
Awesome that they gave her the car back. Should drum up some business for them. And yeah, while shag may not be in today's fashion, it was hip in the 70's. And I'd wager that many of our older drivers here had shag back in the day, just probably won't admit to having it.
 
It is a bit confusing what actually happened here. It was Allstate that gave the car back to the lady who originally owned it. So I wonder how the state managed to get a hold of the car after that? Who made the determination that the car actually belonged to Allstate and gave the car directly to them?

We need that guy who used to say "and now you know the rest of the story".

I really hope she get the car back, it would be like it was stolen from her twice.
