Quite the adventure you have going there Spence. Much more oversight than when I did a reno to my 4 car garage 20 years ago.

Couple of inspections required then ready to foam wall penetrations (air tight); then insulate and drywall. Parging, Gutters and downspouts soon. About 30 days ahead of schedule. Cant wait for 3-9x10 doors to be installed and the heating system to complete the project. Lot of little things getting remedied each day.
Landing and steps to door at back of tandem bay need a plan B resolve - work in progress. Relocated the car hauler to the 20x26 concrete pad beside this garage this week. The corvettes are seeing daylight from hibernation/storage soon.
Gotta start thinking of “decorating” the place with cabinets and finalize lift options etc. Might need to be delayed for next years budget though. Not much “affordable” about this “housing”.

Switched power over from the alley to the garage that now has underground wiring to power the house. Meter is now on the garage and holy crap the wire from the meter to where it connects from the alley. 
Your getting there, not long more now and "Not His and "Not Hers" will be tucked away in there.

Excellent advice. I would add that he should also keep an eye out for copper thieves given the current price.
Mind you it’s a good idea to keep an eye on your barrels as well.
