Question Sporadic leaking tranny fluid.

Hi folks. Glad the driving season is well underway. Sometimes when I leave the garage in my 2000 C5, I notice a drop or two of tranny fluid on the floor. It doesn’t seem to happen every time. Wondering if it is an issue regarding warming up the vehicle.
A bit of history on this one too. I bought it 3 years ago. Drove it one hour to home on a milder January day. Had to move it in and out of the garage a couple times before spring. Noticed puddles about the size of a hockey puck at that time. We determined it may have been due to cold seals. It hasn’t leaked again noticeably until this year.
Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get underneath it to see where about's it is? You may have a front trans seal leaking or a trans pan gasket leak. Could be a lot of things.

Raise vehicle level. Open transmission filler (should leak out normal) close filler with a yellow teflon tape. Spray with break cleaner when done and wipe check of any leak. Check and do the same with the fluid escape. Cheers no more spots.
