Is this possible? I want the speed and distance in Km's but temps and pressures in US. My other cars can do it but can't figure it out on the C8.

I thought you could convert that in the C8's. While going thru some settings awhile ago I thought I saw that function. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. Just ask my wife. LOL.

Could always tape one of these to the dash...

Having the tire pressure , engine temps, and oil pressure in metric is annoying to me. I guess I will have to get use to it.

You can change to Imperial settings on the OnStar app. I have to do that to set the proper tire pressures. I'm old school and still hate the metric system.

Same here. Ideally I would want the speed and odometer in metric and everything else in standard. I can do this on my F150. Just used the onstar app like you said and my tires are all at almost 40 psi after I switched to standard. I will fix that today.

I remember when PET forced metric on us back in the 70's. Said the states was going that way and we had to keep up with them. What a joke. They are still using Imperial 50 years later. All of us mechanics at work had to buy two sets of tools to work on machines even though we mostly used Imperial.

Everyone has different experiences. I've wrenched on cars for 40 years and use my metric tools 99.9% of the time. The fact that Canada went metric just means we can work in both systems, an advantage in today's technical world.
I personally like the metric system, but I also like the imperial system for some things like PSI for tire pressure.
I would love to be able to select which system to use for each display on the C8, perhaps that will happen if enough people chime in on it.

UK does. Quite a few people live over there as well.... so, a large population of the world still like imperial measurements.
Not quite.
Britain is officially metric, in line with the rest of Europe. However, imperial measures are still in use, especially for road distances, which are measured in miles. Imperial pints and gallons are 20 per cent larger than US measures.

Yes, however, having worked and lived over there, you would never know they use the metric system at all... .LOL. They are a funny lot.
