What were they thinking or in this case not thinking? Badly damaged race car but it is the drivers latest in safety equipment and perhaps fashion sense that you have to wonder about. Never seen anything like this. Maybe NASCAR has a new underwear sponsor!?

The binoculars laying in front of the car are also puzzling.

Axe, did not notice the binoculars and when you blow up the picture there is another person behind the guy with the jeans on. Maybe a lot more to this pic than meets the eye. There was no caption with it.

Yes, I saw the extra person. At first, the binocs looked to be floating (to me), then I noticed some grass over them.
Looks like Wright Motors on the 1/4 panel. There's still one in PA.
There's also a name on the roof. Looks like Wade Colman. A quick Google search shows a much younger one.

I think Wayne (MITM) should have a good look at that helmet and slack off on the requirements for the Autocross. LOL
