Soler Throttle Controller

I got down to business earlier in the afternoon.

First pic is the original.
Second pic is after I blended /smoothing out the lip.
The last pic is where there is a 1/16" lip on the inside that I smooth it out. Didn't want to opening thing up and cause a CEL without a tune.

I was hoping the 95mm tb came in but no luck. Next week then.

I installed my Soler Throttle Controller on my C6 yesterday. WOW! This turned my GS into a BEAST! Very impressed with it right through the entire power band. So far I have only played around with the “Sport” mode I can only imagine what the “Ludicrous” setting will unleash!

15 minute to install. Highly recommend it 👍

This is the Original Post. What has this Site turned into? Comedy Central?

Did you buy from Soler? Mine took 3 weeks to arrive unlike the junk I ordered Monday and picked up yesterday lol...
No wonder it took that long. I just checked on mine today with the tracking number. After all of these jumps it’s still 1500 km from the border….good thing it’s not a kidney…..

My Soler is now as of Sept 7 in Chicago. After 17 jumps since it left the Soler facility. Jesus H. I suspect it will soon be in Dallas …..before heading to Salt Lake City.
And we wonder why shipping from the US costs so much. I hope they gave you free shipping... I needed a pulley tensioner spring for my Bad Boy zero turn mower. 6 inches long and 1 and 1/2 inch diameter. I was quoted $23 for the spring out of the US and minimum $120 for shipping... Go figure that...

That's one of the few reasons to have things ship to a Canadian freight forwarding US address like some of us can that live close to the border. And many US companies offer free US shipping. The only company that I have things shipped directly to me is RA which offered fair shipping fees to Canada.

Fine and dandy but first it has to get to the border , lol. And I’m only 2650km from the US border so picking up there is a nonstarter ……although I have ordered items from the US that arrived just as quickly as something shipped within Canada by Canada Post . No surprise there.

They do offer a service to have it shipped to your address as well fwiw. Maybe if like in the case of Mr. Rruuff Day that cost $120 for shipping a small 6" spring?

If you can’t pick it up yourself it has to be forwarded which is just another delay so I don’t see much point in it but if you live a reasonable distance from the border then I can see it being useful for the shipping cost savings on some items . Or for items that don’t ship to Canada.

I use the same sort of service as Todd for companies that won't ship to Canada. This way it goes to Niagara Falls, New York and I can have it sent to a warehouse near the Toronto airport for pickup or have it mailed to me.
