So What Can we Expect For Extra Costs?

Haven't bought a brand new car in years and wondering what I can expect when I get the Z and how much typically.

My dealer just confirmed MSRP with Tpt fees at $86895 so what else can I expect? Do we have a gas guzzler tax? Air Conditioning tax? Excise Tax? Dealer fees? Oh and typically how much for each...

Lots of changes coming as I Don't like the DSOM/Kalahari mix at all so will prob go with the jet black interior. This lessens the value of 2LZ to me and I may go 1LZ and get the exterior ground effects pkg/grey rims/stinger...

Yes, yes and yesssss. Lots if stuff added to the price. HST is the big one, Dealer prep, excise tax, tire tax, gas tax, freight , license, admin. and I think that is it, unless the government comes up with another one prior to getting the car Really ... not that funny

My initial budget got blown out of the water.

The administration fee is stuck in there just to get more money out of you. I wouldn't be buying anything without a set price on everything first. You are just leaving yourself open.

The admin fee was $300 negotiated down from $500. gas tax ??? for the z06, tire tax, I think $5 per tire, can't remember, excise $100 or so. Better ask our sponsor. Your freight will be different then mine. Not sure if it is based on weight or value or both.

On my c7 the little extras were :
OMVIC Fee 5.00
AC Tax 100.00
Admin 495.00
Enviro Fee 29.20
Licencing 104.00
Fuel 20.00
No Gas Guzzler Tax
If you're in Toronto I think there is an extra $60 for the City

I was just going through some older posts and came across this thread.

Here are the extras you would find at Gateway Chev.

OMVIC $5 -- mandatory across Ontario at all registered dealers
Environment $ 29.20 -- should be called Ontario Tire Stewardship fee. $ 7.30/tire.
A/C Tax $100 -- Mandatory
Admin $495 -- mandatory
Licensing $127 -- mandatory included 1 year renewal and new plates
Fuel $20 -- mandatory
HST -- mandatory (unless you are a native status holder and agree to take delivery on a local Reserve)
Bonus: OEM Wheel locks for Alloy Rims, Tire Roadside Hazard Warranty, Nitrogen inflated tires, Additional 2 years of oil changes (4 oil changes), set of universal rubber floor mats.
