So, do you know much about Electric Vehicles?

Sure if you know the access code to start the car and we all have the exact location of the vehicle 24/7 on our cells. :)
Ya, is it Kia that can give a friend an electronic key to start the car? That sounds like trouble waiting to happen!

As of 2021 81% of Canadians live in "cities" which makes it frustrating for the rest of us that do not and would not be able to rely on an electric vehicle in all seasons for all of our needs. This will drive the political agenda going forward. I will be fine settling for an electric toy one day such as a Miata or Boxter.

Impressive performance and concept. Wow. Sounds good too like a mini fighter jet.

Interesting that you can only do one track lap, at "full power"...and when dialed down to behave like a Porsche GT3, you get 20 track minutes. Not a practical vehicle, even for track use.

Agreed. Technology is not there yet but 5 - 10 years? If this proof to work, every one will adopt this concept with fans act as down force for sport ev. Most of everything on the C8 except Mag shocks was use previously by some one else?

At a premium price of £2M (C$3.38M) to do 0-60mph in 1.4sec, I think I'll stick with the C8 HTC Z51 at a paltry C$130K, which is 1/26th the price of the Spéirling, and learn to live with 0-60 in 2.9sec. It's the price I'll pay for being frugal.

It is not about the present McMurtry, its price, how impractical and untractive design but rather the concept.
Who would have though the carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fiber panels would be on the some mid end sport cars 20 years later?
:)

What concept? Sorry, I'm missing your point.

I currently service 4 pretty fast and nice gas powered vehicles... but, as much as I am a petrol head, I do know that the day will come when I too shall purchase an electric car. In the near future, the batteries and the range will undoubtedly improve. (I would like to have at a minimum a 250kms range) For now, I am keeping an eye on the Karma Revero...... while still enjoying and not giving up the sounds of a V8...... time will tell...And yes, Ill hang on to a couple of nice V8s

For a large sedan it also handles very well. Had trouble getting up my driveway in winter with my C43 Mercedes , kept sliding back down the driveway , hit the bins at the bottom of the driveway. Finally made it up . Took the Tesla next , it flew up the driveway without an issue .
