I have just bought a Y2K roadster, and was wondering, if the snow tires would have to be 17 and 18's? or could I run 4 of each? Does anyone put bags of salt in back for weight?
Riley I think this guy is screwing with you!!! And buy the way if you read this 427Carl I suggest you go to Krown rust control have them spray it inside and out then fill the trunk up with open bags of salt it works great....:coolgleam:17's for sure in the front. I'm sure as long as you keep the circumference of the rear tire at least 1/2" larger than the fronts, you could run 17's in the rear as well.

I think I will go a little further, and have the trunk done with Rhino liner.. and fill with sand for safety

SORRY about the black rim comments... Same happened with my 2010 2SS/RS on Camaro site.... I ran a tire shop from 1971 to 2006... spent my whole life selling chrome wheels to jazz up customers cars...
Too old, to understand, why anyone would think black was a sick thing..and lowering a car that is already too low (for me) sorry... its just age.....
