Second recall on C7 -- 33 vehicles affected in Canada

GM Canada today announced a recall on 33 Canadian Corvettes C7. I wonder if these are the same 33 units that were involved in the Competition Seats recall a couple of weeks back.

I wonder if this is a result of what happened to a C7 owner on another forum. There was a thread with pictures of what looked like a collapsed right rear suspension.

It would be interesting to know where all these defective parts were made. It doesn't really matter where. We'd just like to know.

That was a major collapse of the rear suspension. A lot of damage was done to the suspension and body work. I believe the owner was given a new car (by the dealer) and the thread along with the car just disappeared.

I find the whole episode very odd but jabroni you could be right on the money that this is what happened to that car and thus the recall.
