That's why I bought red. light colours are too hard to keep clean. There must be fabric protectants. McGuire's makes some leather treatments.

Big white fluffy 100% cotton bath towel. Sure, looks dumb, but keeps em perfect. Have them and use them in all my half decent cars.

People have been looking for seat covers made for a C8 but none are available at this early stage or certainly I've been unable to find any yet. That will no doubt change. I don't know if other seat covers will work (ie. for a C7?) so we'll have to wait for someone's feedback on that. Years ago one of my best friends who had worked continuously for GM since graduating from University (20+ years and now sadly deceased from cancer), told me NOT to spend any money on protecting the seat surfaces, since the factory puts "scotchguard" or the equivalent on the interior surfaces already. I've always followed that advice. However with seats that have high side bolsters, I've noticed a definite wear pattern on their edge closest to the door, over time from entering/exiting, which would be avoided by seat covers or perhaps (?) repeat applications of "scotchguard" on that area.
In my opinion seat covers and steering wheel covers are gross, just talking about it makes me wanna

Grey, black or red your seats are still covered in dirt. They’re are many excellent leather cleaners that you can use.
Check out the leather section on Auto Obsessed in Edmonton. autoobsessed.com I have use the protectant and the conditioner for years with good results. I even find it easier for my ancient butt to slide in and out with regular applications.
