I'm looking for a decent 1:18 C7-ZR1 diecast ...
their release is as elusive as the 1:1 version

Spence my die cast dealer has a few in different colours. Beautifully detailed with a list of $400.00 however they are in short supply and she has allocations for only a few more. The price of $1200.00 plus shipping and handling seems more than fair. Let me know if you want one, she has a lengthy list of people wanting them but I have an "in" and could get you one. No problem.

I had been looking for one for quite awhile. My wife and I were in Vegas in April. Stopped in to CRV drugstore to get some sun screen. At the checkout line was usual stuff. All by itself was a replica c6coupe crystal red. Almost just like mine. I grabbed it and paid for the sunscreen and replica. When I showed wife I got the wifey slow head shake. Oh well I love it. By the way it was only $12.99 US.

I won an eBay auction today for mine:

"This is a 1:18 ERTL American Muscle diecast model of a 2003 C5 Corvette Z06 in yellow with a black interior. Wheels - steer and turn. Doors and hood open, detailed engine, spring suspension. Car is new in mint box - never opened. High quality - very detailed - similar to AUTOart but heavier. These cars are "Hobby Edition" - there is a tool chest included in the box"

Got it for $50 plus shipping. Not sure what the quality will be like but worth a chance.

Nice. Look forward to an update when it arrives!
