I don't know the name of the driver. Sucks that he has to live with killing someone for the rest of his life.

........and that the gal's family and friends have to go on without her. Very sad.

Allan Dean Balay is charged with impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death. Additional charges are pending.

This fella is in a world of trouble.

Let's hope others can learn from this totally avoidable mistake.

Very sad news, I had hoped that impaired driving would have disappeared long ago but some people just don't get it.

very sad news indeed when it is so unecessary. Unfortunately driving while impairedis more common than people realise

Add to that all the drugs that people are playing with and the roads get pretty scary. You need all your wits about you when driving today, and at my age, it takes them all especially when driving a car with a bit of horsepower.

this is very sad. and is such a no-brainer for some, but not everyone thinks the same way... or thinks at all.... and that is so unfortunate... and avoidable. alcohol and vehicles are not to be mixed.
