Yes... Z06 owners get Z06's; they received them last month. They are much more expensive for the second driver though.

"Only first retail purchasers of new and unused 2014, 2015 model year Stingray and Z06 Corvettes are eligible. Chevrolet pays for 60% of eligible Stingray owners 2-day tuition and 74% of eligible Z06 owners 2-day tuition. Only 2015 Z06 owners are eligible for Z06 program."

You know that only one of you gets the discount,of $1500 so you pay $1000.
Your wife will have to pay full price $2500 thats unless you guys bought 2 cars....

Fully aware! The full 2500 is a lot cheaper then a second Z51...

US$3500 for both of us plus 100 extra for the coming in the night before.

For 2 days of learning and fun I'm okay with it.

Really hope you folks take some time to look around the area before or after the track time. There are some incredible natural sites to see.

Would love to do the track session but unfortunately cannot.

So just got back this morning.

Was a fantastic time. Now they do spend a bit of time going over features of the car that I already knew but there were lots of participants that didn't. But they smartly scheduled these to happen as they alternated drivers to the track. So the class of 20 day one AM gets randomly split into 3 groups ( 6 7 7 ) at the start. The 3 groups rotated through Wet Skid Pad, Serpentine ( controlled steering ) and a classroom session.

Then they start to judge the skill levels of the drivers so they are appropriately grouped together. They are constantly adjusting this as the course progresses. They bucket every one into one of two groups of 10 and then within that 3 sub groups ( 4, 3, 4 ), so they have 6 graduations of skill level so people feel comfortable and not overly pushed or held back by a single student. A very good system I thought.

The biggest thing that amazed me was how these instructors were constantly watching us at speed through their rear view mirror and coaching us without a hiccup. All the instructors are talented drivers, which you get to experience as you do a ride along with them, so you can see how the operate the car. Here is the video of my ride along.

They are extremely calm, controlled and smooth on both the brakes.

And here is the video of my last driving session.

Will update some more when I have more time.

Thanks for the write up on how they break down the classes SmackYYZ.

As someone who has raced both cars and karts at a fairly high competetion level since 18 yrs old, I was a little concerned that I might get grouped with some slower guys and wouldn't be able to get the most out of the car that I could handle.

Looking forward to Nov. 24-25 when I take this course!... Anyone else going down then?

November 16/17 here.....

Just returned from the September 21 & 22 class. Great course, SmackYYZ has it explained well above.
One thing I wanted to mention is that many of the guys who brought their wives had them ride along with the instructors. So that's another option.
