You are supposed to be looking at planes not eating constantly.

Looks good Mike.

Mike, the Hope Slide is an interesting bit of history that I knew nothing of. Thanks for recording it for us.

Amazing more people were not killed. Incredible event.

That sign board Murray is at the Hope visitor centre next door to the Chevy dealer. The actual slide is down the Crowsnest highway approx 30 kms from the TCH junction and the town of Hope. I’ll get a vid from the actual site in a few weeks maybe as I might be going back pretty quick. More to come on that later.

I’m not sure if the Frank slide or the Hope slide spread out more debris though. I was last at the Hope slide in 2012. Can’t recall if it has a bigger debris field. It might be deeper I would think. You guys saw the vid from Frank last year. There’s a lot of rock there!!

Nice pics Mike. Got an affinity for the A10 or more pics because you could get close?

The buffer zone they set up allowed people to get pretty close to this one. I wandered out there pretty early while the crowd was still reasonably thin too. I like to get that stuff out of the way pretty early.

Thanks @RockyPM

It was a pretty good weekend. Rain held off until just before the Snowbirds took to the sky. Didn’t get any vid or pics of them mind you. Temps were steady at 19 with a breeze.

They made an announcement during the show that next year,The US Air Force Thunderbirds will be returning after 6 years. They always have an excellent show.
