Watched a video of a guy the other day where the guy pulled up beside him in a live lane and practically gets right out of his car to get a look...giving it a thumbs up.

I was coming home from Costco a few weeks ago and had a guy about 25 lean out the passenger side when they were coming up behind and beside me and start videoing - I saw him in the mirror. He used his camera phone all the way past me, then gave me the thumbs up. Came out of a pharmacy in town on Sunday, my wife was in the car , a guy had come up and politely asked her while I was inside if he could take some pics. He proceeded to take pics walking around the car , taking them from a bunch of angles, still doing it when I came out, said thanks remarked "beautiful car" and went on his way. I could go on and on, amazing the number of folks who hit me up at Timmys or in other parking lots and want to ask questions about the car. Had sports cars in the past , some very nice cars and you get some of that but no car has ever provoked the reaction I have seen with this one. Obviously it is pretty common with other owners, like this article and posts on other forums reflect.

For those of us that are able to get the C7, I believe we are fortunate. I've worked almost 30 years to be able to buy one. Not cheap, worth the wait. Nothing comes easy, and if does, then it's not appreciated.

Have to agree, happens all the time, everywhere from all sorts of different people.

Wife thinks we should change the vanity plate to "NotFamous" , but she enjoys the pictures, smiles, comments and thumbs up.

If you tell them the price they don't believe it.

Life is good!

:agree:

I sure hope to be able to get myself a C7 before I turn 45.

Till that time Ill cherish my Ron Fellows 2 day training which I plan to go to later this yr. Hopefully in November.
