Ride comparrison Z51 and Non Z51

Well Folks
The yellow Z51 is what we chose. In the end it was all about the price protection or lack of it. The yellow had some and the Orange had none. Not really happy about the deal but want the car.
Hope the ride is Ok for us. The car is great and I will know this weekend how well we like it in Z51 trim.
Take delivery Friday afternoon.
Thanks again for the input very valuable.

You can't go wrong with either decision. Great car ... enjoy it.

Hey ezeruss! Great thread on deciding whether to go with the Z51 or not. I enjoyed the read. Congratulations on the new ride! Sounds like a great car! Take some pictures of that beaut!

OK We took delivery of the car today and what a beautiful thing it is. Went with the yellow Z51 non magnetic ride and although the ride is firm it is not what I expected based on all of the reading I had done.
So not to disrespect any of the people who don't like the ride or say you have to get the mag ride I must say if you plan on tracking your car get the mag ride if not then don't waste the money or any time thinking about. The car is awesome and it floats down a good quality road without any bone crushing jolts.
The handling is awesome and the electronics are awesome as well.
Hooked up my phone and my brother called and I spoke to him with the top down at 75km traveling on a back road and he couldn't tell I was driving no wind noise and it was clear as a bell for him.
We drove about 180km and the only issue was having to drive in a manner suitable for breaking in the engine tranny and brakes.
And Tomorrow is my grandsons first birthday. So no time to drive the yellow beast tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the input

Congrats! Glad the car is working out for you and it's nice to get some feedback on the Z51 suspension. Before you know it, your grandson will be asking for rides in the car!

Took the yellow beast out for a run today and I am so impressed with this car. The 800km break in is 75% done now and I can't wait to see what she can really do. Have been ramping up the loading as I drive just like I would with my race engines. Lots of heat cycles and lots of variation in acceleration and speeds. Pushing the handling a little bit more all the time. I originally said I would never track the car but on day 2 I'm having second thoughts. As my wife pointed out after putting on some sweet miles in some very nice twisties it is addictive.

I have raced karts lots. 4 cycle, ICA and even a Shifter. The beast is just as much fun. I never would have believed it before driving this car.
Again the ride is awesome and the handling is dreamy. Z51 all the way baby!!!!!

Glad to hear the car is continuing to impress! If you have time, snap some pictures of that gorgeous machine you have out in the great scenery you guys have. We'd love to see them!
