2015 Z06 I want to change out the run flats to a non run flat. I am looking for less tire noise and smoother ride, any one with an existing application can you help

Our '05 had the original Goodyear runflats and they were definitely noisy. Last year, I had Firestone runflats installed. Not a bad price compared to others. Definitely quieter and a little smoother ride. I had a four wheel alignment done two years ago giving the front zero camber. The tires were wearing on the insides far faster than the rest of the tire. Three years ago, I picked up a set of polished wheels with original Goodyears. They had the same inboard wear patterns as my tires. I was told that the car might not track as true above 130 mph but I'm not on the track so that is of no concern. It remains to be seen how much tire life I get out of the tires. I got alignment specs from guys who do alignment work for a living. The numbers that both gave me were virtually the same for even tire wear and my alignment guy agreed with the specs and he too does only alignment work for a living..

Can't offer much on non run flat rubber but will chime in on the alignment. I bought my 09 with 30k on it. Eagle F-1 run flats Tires were at 8/32's all around. Not bad ! NOT. Got her home for a good look and the inboard wear was to the cords. Had her aligned and new F-1's on the front. Rears were fine. Sold her before I noticed any further inside wear. I don't find the Pilot Super Sports on the C7 noisy at all compared to what the Eagles were. Maybe the Cup 2 is different again though.

Regardless, I'm sure you will get lots of helpful advice on this topic Terrance.
