realistic seller pricing ?

On top of the no fiddling, most people don't have the garage space, the tools nor the knowledge to work on them. I look at our '05 and cringe. It's like looking into the back of a TV set. I have no clue what does what. At least the car is pretty new and shouldn't need major attention for a few years. If that Model A was a completely restored vehicle, engine, transmission and all, it shouldn't need much of any tinkering for a few years either. It looks sweet. My brother used to have an early '28 two door, same colour. It had quite a few carry over parts from the "T" that it replaced. It had the original drive train with adapters made to mount the mags.

As a coincidence, TVs today are meant to be disposable and not repairable. Quite the analogy !!

There is something to be said for simpler times and simpler cars. It would have to be pretty bad though to let this car go and if I read enough I can usually figure out how to get a job done. I've restored a couple of '60s cars from pretty well a bare body on a bare frame and they actually ran so I have had some practice. In comparing the car and TV I was just pointing out that I don't know what I am looking at in either for the most part. There's no such thing as a throw away Corvette. Even one written off is going to be picked clean for other projects such as retro Camaros and the like.

You guys are killing me. I guess I might as well drive her to the junk yard and leave her there.

Navion "special cars" will always sell, just need to get it in front of the right buyer is all ... your '67 is a very desirable car, likely worth more in the US .... if you still have it in August you should take it to Carlisle Pa. By the way she looked good a Weber's, glad you drove her there:

I have a special junk yard you can park the '67 in. Actually it is my garage, but it used to look like a junkyard before the renovation. Give that car a little exposure at shows and it will sell. It's just too nice not to sell.
