I was out for a cruise with my wife Saturday in Niagara Falls and stumbled upon this rare yellow beast. Have not seen one of these in many years . This one looked like it had a high level build as the paint and body work looked flawless .

Used to be one of them would show up at the A&W in Galt on Thursday's. And Colin it was in Candy Apple Red. That conversion was all the rage for awhile and they sold quite a few kits, but looked a lot better with Cragar mags on them
Rob

Hey Rob, I've not seen one around here but in red I would definitely notice, especially with beloved Cragars.
There are still Cruise nights at the DUB and a couple other places too during the week -- We'll have to stop in again soon and see if I can find that custom 'vette.

Colin

I'm sure that the inspiration was a couple of body guys having a couple of cold ones looking at a vette sitting beside an El Camino topper. You know I think with a little modification, I could make it fit. Hold my beer while I try something ...

Here's a little more on the Greenwood conversion if anyone's interested.
Greenwood Corvette - Sportwagon
Rob

.........and just in case my previous comments offended. they were definitely no intended that way... This mod just wouldn't be for me -- I'd like to preserve the car's originality (and looks)....

but hey, if someone has the need to modify, or if space is more important and necessary, then this might suit a 'vette owner to a tee.:)

G/L to whomever feels the need.:D

Colin no offence taken. So I'm surfing craigslist tonight and go to Toronto to check out Vettes in your province and guess what. There's a dude in Kansas that's selling the mold for the station wagon. .Corvette Parts - OEM NOS. Anyone out there up to the task. Remember, Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Make mine Surgenor's, Steam Donkey Lager
Surgenor Brewing Company Ltd.

Interesting to say the least. It does look like a lot of time went into transforming that car. I wonder if anyone has ever modified a station wagon to have a Corvette rear end?:D

I wonder if is now a four seater?

"Surgenor Beer" -- the active header on that site makes it look very appetizing -- It almost made me get up and go to the fridge. Had it not been so early, and that I read on, I probably would have -- but the name, the name, the name.........What's in a name? : Steam Donkey beer? -- No doubt a very good beer, I just hope steam donkey isn't in it.

The visuals are running wild right now (and so is my stomach).:ack:

As to the fella selling the 'vette station wagon mold -- I wish him luck too.
There probably are a few one car peeps who could benefit from the mod--

I'm thankful that I don't have to resort to that, tho, having other rides to tote/chauffeur with that more look the part.:)

LOL, I wouldn't be surprised with all this 'exposure' and chatter on the interwebs that there will be a flood of orders for the Wagon Vette mod. and it'll be a huge success:eek:

The beer, well so long as I don't share my 'visuals' it will probably survive........

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

That sounds about right!

No doubt that sooner or later someone will log in and tell us they have one and want to know what all the fuss is about and why everyone is hatin'.....

....and you know who will be at the front of the line with both feet in his mouth.

Oh well, we can cross that bridge if we ever get there.:D
