racing harness for street car

morn has anyone installed 4or5 point racing harness on c6 convertible

Welcome to the forum. Haven't used one on the street but currently using in a 7sec race car, 5 sec race car and a crazy modified Can Am SxS that beats up the desert. Unlike the factory belts the 4 and or 5 point have no retractability so when set properly/safely u will not be able to reach anything but your steering wheel. great for protection but I find myself very constrained, which is exactly what they are designed to do. Even properly shoulder checking when coming out of the pits is a bit hazardous. Just my 2 cents worth but if this is to remain a street car I would revisit my decision or desire to install harness.
