I have open a few questions in the DYI section and they remain open. How do these questions get the answered status? Is it something I can do or is done by the admin?

Hemicat the only thing I can offer is that perhaps no one has the answers to your questions. The video on old school versus new school engine blocks seems to have been well viewed and it really is answering questions people may have. The electronic torque wrench is one of those things that takes a need before a purchase is made, the need may not have been met.
Please don't stop asking questions, it is how we all learn. We may not always have the answers however.

If they're flagged as questions when you created the thread each post would have a score next to it as well as a cup to award the best answer. Click on the cup and it will award it as best answer and mark question as answered.
