Question the the C8 convertible

The C8 vert does not have a see through rear panel. It would take a fairly substantial re-design of the rear hatch and the vert operation mechanical I would think.
In the Jay Leno/Tadge Juechter video, Tadge talked about having to keep engine heat away from the top, when it is retracted down on top of the engine. So no see thru stuff at all. Heat shielding stuff instead.

So if you want to see through the mid engine, you have to stick with the coupe but you can take the top off manually anytime right?
Do you guys have the impression that the coupe version is longer and nicer than the convertible?
I'm number 15 on my dealer list, I don't think that I will get it next year. Hopefully, when my turn comes, the C8 Z06 version will be available to order

I am pretty sure they are exactly the same dimension wise other than the Nacelles and the 77Lbs in weight.
Yes you can take the top on manually at anytime and it clips into the trunk for storage.
