Quebec car show and Corvette C8

that what im thinking drive 3 hour to go and 3 hour to come back, and you can not sit in the car to know if you are comfortable ! before you can change your mind with allocation
Back in August last year I drove from Toronto to a dealer in Upstate New York where they had a reveal. Sat in a Sebring orange Coupe, then came back home and placed my deposit. About a 5 hour drive total plus border crossing. I wanted to see the C8 in person and sit inside before I parted with my hard earned ca$h!

We did that run too! VanBortels? Great trip and with the ability to sit in and review even pre production build quality was key to moving forward with purchase.

i think i will try to be there when the door open and ask to sit inside, im still second on the list but its a small dealer i dont know if they will have two allocation for 2020, if someone know a dealer that have some allocation let me know ? im willing to pay the shipping cost for the car probably it will be less than the 2021 increased

Kevin, I'm at a small dealer as well I Got Allocation last month. Perhaps you get the call next week!

Same place, funny what we do for something we really want!
So true, for me this a great way to get my wife to green light the investment. Just saying you want to buy a car sight unseen does not work well in my house. So we went on a Friday and made an afternoon of it. The Dealership was wonderful. What true sports to host the reveal. Free food, local Corvette Club members came out on mass and created a great car show of all kinds of fabulous rides. The funny thing was the demographics. My wife commented that I was one of the "young ones" and I'm 54. haha. I spoke with some young lot jockey while waiting for our viewing time slot and he was so enthusiastic. I think that dealer was clearly focused on vettes. I would certainly recommend anyone to look them up and head down for any events they put on. Quite the community. The drive down there is great. Very scenic.
