Qdot tv warning

Arguably the greatest player of all time. In what they call the “ modern era “ , Ronnie O’Sullivan .Back in the twenties Joe Davis was the man .
Your forgetting about Minnesota Fats (Rudolf Wanderone). Self proclaimed "The Best". Of course he played Pool.

Fats was good. So was Jackie Gleason . He played all of his own shots in “ The Hustler “ . But for pocket billiard games my money would be on Efren Reyes every time. They don’t call him the Magician “ for no reason . Sorry about the AI voiceover.

Arguably the greatest player of all time. In what they call the “ modern era “ , Ronnie O’Sullivan .Back in the twenties Joe Davis was the man . Only player to never lose a match in the World Championships. Friggin amazing. I bought his book “ How I Play Snooker “ many years ago. It will improve your game for sure. Hard to find now and quite expensive because of that. This is O’Sullivan making a perfect break of 147 in the World Championship. The fastest ever.

Joe Davis was the world snooker champion for 15 consecutive years, winning every World Snooker Championship from its inception in 1927 until his retirement in 1946. He remains the only player to have never lost a match in the World Snooker Championship history.
He won the championship annually from 1927 to 1940, and then again in 1946 after World War II caused a hiatus in the tournament. After his 1946 victory, he retired from the World Snooker Championship but continued to play professionally in other events until 1964.

Did you watch this on Murray's Green Tv?

oh god no. Who was the guy that looked like his glasses were upside down. Remember watching him a lot...
Dennis Taylor . He had them hinged so they would flip forward when he got down on a shot so the focus was more accurate and created less glare on the lenses. First player to do so.

While we’re on the topic perhaps the best pocket billiard player and I can’t believe I didn’t think about this was Willie Mosconi . In the game of 14 to 1 continuous you rack the balls and lag for break . You can shoot any ball on the table, call shot . One point per ball. After 14 balls have been sunk the cueball and last remaining ball stay in position and the other 14 are racked again. You want to leave that last ball where you can call it , make it and break out the newly racked balls to continue with your run .
In an exhibition match Mosconi scored 526 points obviously without missing. That is 35 consecutive racks . A God . No one has ever even come close. He must have made a deal with the devil…….

You still have to stay on topic within the Thread. Jesus, read the rule book lol...

"he did that in 1954 …. WELL before my arrival."

Yeah, and I was a teen in the 90's...
Afraid that one is true. Blame the topic drift on Murray . He probably won’t see this being as he’s getting the soda pop on ice for tomorrow……beautiful day , time to go out for some Track Mode action…..
