a nice trip is the route through new hampshire, vermont, and new york, crossing the border to ontario at the 1000 islands. i did that drive back in the 70's to bar harbour. it was my intention to take the ferry from there to yarmouth and then on to halifax. just my luck the ferry schedule had changed and i would have had a 3 day wait. so i doubled back and crossed the border at st. croix nb. it was a beautiful scenic trip. i would like to do it again sometime to go to loudon.
