Procharger C8 vs Stock CT5-V BW

Pretty lame IMHO . No specs on the Blackwing and a rolling start at 40 lol. Then 10 . Should make you wonder why not from a dead stop .
We know what the result would be as the C8 has superior traction.
The surprising thing is that the BW were able to reel in the Procharger SR up top. 🤔

Because of the type of super charger as opposed to the one on the C8 . Two different applications relative to where they make power. Roots for bottom end and centrifugal for top end . For daily out and about Roots types are better. For 1/4 mile centrifugal is where it's at . They are comparing apples and oranges really.

If centrifugal is good for top end, the SR shouldn't have been passed by the BW? Considering that the SR puts down 600whp. 400 lbs less. Unless the BW has a tune on stock internals? That would make a little more sense. But he did say stock.
Quite interesting.
What I find interesting....and sad.... is that they have a manual (no. not a lame excuse paddle shift that some think is a manual) in the ho hum looking Blackwing but refuse to option it in the Corvette. An American sports car fail. jmo

You just can't admit it can you! LOL
manual
/ˈmanyə(wə)l/
Manual generally refers to something done, operated, or relating to the hands. It has distinct meanings depending on its use as an adjective or a noun.

My apologies...I just assumed most would know what I meant. Guess I should have elaborated to manual shift with the hands on a lever and disengaging and engaging a clutch, usually with a left foot. If you would like more info on how a clutch, shift fork, throw-out bearing, diaphragm spring, left foot etc. etc. works, let me know. Oh yeah. There's also a knob (also having distinct meanings depending on it's use as an adjective or a noun) Not to be confused with other non vehicle related meanings for a knob.... Lol

It's a "Stick shift"! That shouldn't be too hard for an old man like you to remember. ;)

Manuel. Just because there seems to be some confusion........:angelic: I hope this clears it up.
