OK after using the rear mirror camera and the glass mirror, I prefer the glass mirror and see no need for the rear mirror camera. I adjusted the side mirrors for the blind spots and they worked just fine. Perhaps GM also thinks it's not essential. Just my opinion. I won't be using it much at all.
