Paul's 2010 C6 Z06 picks up 200 rwhp!

In theory both identical builds would get the same results on the dyno, in actual practice how does that work out? If there are differences why?

sorry obviously too much time on my hands :)

They are built on different years , one is an 06 and the other a 2010 . There are differences in engines builds as well that will account for the hp numbers being different .

Good afternoon Manny,

Two days of blizzards, sheesh!

Sorry, in the first post of this thread Arun he said that "Just got Paul's 2010 C6 Z06 off the dyno. The Crew at DasilvaMotorsports added a A&A V2 Si trim, some shiny new Pfadt headers and a Alky Control Meth kit.

The gains are impressive to say the least-especially for 7.5lbs of boost."

So I assumed as I beleived there was a V2 that this was different from the V3 you had mentioned you were doing for mine.

So I had thought that Pauls was a V2 with higher boost and mine was a V3 with lower boost. You had mentioned earlier going with 7 psi boost. Are you going to 7.5 with mine as well?

I hope you are taking some time off for the holidays now!

Cheers,

Garry

Garry , I am aiming to duplicate the same results for you at 7.5 PSI :D

Cause thats how we roll at Dasilva Motorsports

Good morning Manny,

Well, since I've started at a 14 rwhp disadvantage and not being able to source 93 octane fuel if you can get me the same results as Paul your already solid reputation would have to be elevated somehow to an even higher level!

The only consolation in the end is that I won't ever face Paul's car so really it is like the 900 plus rwhp ar you've done, I'm happy for the guy but again it will not stop my car from being a vastly superior car after your attention to it and it will still probably make me King of the Road in Northern Alberta...........

Maybe 4 more months to go? Still no mail with money in it. Thankfully the remainder of the word I'd like to dig up $ for is non-engine stuff so as long as I can get it in the next few months I'll still be able to finish it off.

Cheers,

Garry
