Parking brake issues

Anyone have a parking brake that does not hold on an incline or bring the car to a full stop from highway spped?

Yes. I replaced the shoes with the help of a few good youtube videos. Fairly inexpensive,but for a manual transmission, a must.

Mine wouldn’t hold in my driveway with a slight incline. I have 9,000 miles on my 50th and new it didn’t need shoes. Seems cable stretched over the years from pulling to hard and could have set tighter at factory.
Back wheels have to come off which is good opportunity to look at other stuff.
