Just purchased a brand new 2025 C8 2LT ,Z51 looked great at dealership with bright lights saw some, once I got home I noticed these marks on the paint only visible in natural dim lights and must looked from the side to notice, dealership says they can buff them out, what are your thoughts? What can this be, was in the Dealership showroom.

Perhaps it's residue from the white protective film that C8's ship with.

I'm thinking the cover was flapping in the wind while the car was on the back of the trailer for a couple of hundred kilometres. I had a bra on a Supra in the 80's (don't ask). The headlight flap let loose on the highway and was slapping the hood. By the time I pulled over the damage was done....

And here I thought all of the bras were burned in the 60's ............ ;)

Look at it from lots of angles and different light after they correct. I have seen this on other vehicles and if it has worn into the clear coat, buffing will make it look better but may still have a shading or reflective shine difference from the rest of the finish.
