I just placed an order for a Torch Red 2LT Stingray Coup. Once I get an order number from the dealer, is there a way I can track the order and get the current event code?

Congratulations on your purchase, I know how you feel I also ordered a 2019 Corvette. Mine is a 2LT Watkins Grey Grand Sport coupe, I think that it`s at 3300 now and scheduled to be built sometime mid March. I`ve been told that you can get updates from GM Authority, the link is: Track You GM Vehicle Order At GM Authority (Beta) but I have not been able to get it to work and have been relying on my sales guy for updates.

Thank you, I did as you suggested and they were quick to provide me with my build date

If you have a good sales man, ask him to log in every Thursday (statuses usually get updated overnight Wed) morning and check the status of your order, do a screen shot and email it to you. My sales guy did it for me, but he was one of the better ones.

From what I have heard it may take about 6 weeks after production before it would arrive at your dealership. My GS is going to production on april 2nd. We should see our cars some time in the middle of may. You don't want it any sooner. I want to roads to be salt free when I drive it home.

I think someone said you can track the car with the on board On Star. Not 100% sure but worth a try.

My experience was that my car sat in Bowling Green for about 3 days then shipped north where it eventually made it to a staging facility in either Windsor or Detroit. Then they were organized for shipment based on local deliveries. I got my car in about 13 days after production and there were unknown delays at the staging facility. It sat there for 5 days and didn't move with no explanation and took my dealer calling to get it on a truck. So since your close to the GTA I'd plan on no more than 2 weeks for delivery.

Once the car is shipped and you have your VIN you can get your dealer to activate the OnStar. But you can only get a position on the vehicle when it is started and running. So I only got positions on it in Toledo and Windsor and only when it was moved.
