most likely it is exactly what happened, so OnStar can f*ck right off, because if I received a message like that when I was away from my car that would be problematic.Chalk it up to more bugs in the onstar system , not long ago everyone got a flat tire alert from them guys.
Woke up to an email from onstart that there was a theft attempt at 6:46 AM on my C8 that was parked in a garage. When I unlocked the car later today it beeped 3 times and showed a “theft attempted” on the dash.
Anyone have this happen before?

called OnStar, they said their system detected an "unauthorized entry attempt", but no other details such as usual "driver's door, frunk or trunk or broken glass" explanation. They said they don't know what to tell me, and that I should be happy that it was a false alarm IF that's in fact what it was.Did you check with Onstar for their explanation?
