Just a quick question , how much do you pay for an oil change at a dealer ? The reason I ask is I was quoted around $240.00. Seems a tad high. This is for my 2019 1 LT. C7. Thank You. Doug...

Once my four free oil changes are done (next March), the next one will be done in my garage. I am going to use the proper oil specified in the manual (Dexos2 0w-40) and no substitute or 5w-30. Yes, the oil is expensive (maybe at 16-17 dollars/quart x 7 quarts) but I will probably do one oil change per year. I would have difficulty paying 240 but 90 percent of the dealership customers don't ask questions and that is what their business model (and most businesses for that matter) is built on, not the 10 percent I fall under.
