Would have perhaps been a different outcome with Verstappen at the wheel even with the fifth gear ratio issue..Was it Stroll at the wheel?
I am also a racer (sports 2000 north american series) and own a 24 z06 and agree with everything you said 100%Before any of this happened, didn't I assert that the gearing in this car is highly un-optimal?

I would think there were other considerations other than worrying about top speed. I'm sure they know what they are doing.The question is why would they not correct this at the beginning with the engineers??
