I used the Exotic Vette kit. It's a foam wedged between foil. It can be glued and taped. The kit is pre marked and cut for each section, and easy to install once the interior is stripped.

I added some extra insulation in the hatch area and will be removing the outside rear wheel liners and insulating there as well over the winter. Those wheel wells have insulation inside a plastic tube. I will make and add a bigger tube in that area.
