Interesting. I wonder if this is the same kit Flyin-Ryan put in his 76? I haven't seen him on here in years but his avatar showed his corvette doing a wheel stand in the quarter mile.
 
the c3 irs will not take the shock of launching the car under high torque loads. there is too much flex and many components to break, six u-joints instead of two, half shafts, yokes etc. for drag racing a solid rear with a four link or ladder bar set up is the better choice. for road course/slalom style driving you can't beat the irs.
