Here's what I saw.... a nice Pontiac GTO, followed by a smoke show the was just an intro to the Smokey and the Bandit Firebird TRANS AM. Although the word Trans seems to have gained secondary connotation since 1977.

In Alberta cars have the right to identify as 'trans' and be 'modified' only they are over 16 years old....
