If there is one constant in the automotive world, it’s that the French tend to make some of the wackiest/most interesting cars you’re likely to see. This 1898 Panhard-Levassor is a tremendous example of that, largely due to its exposed radiator fins prominently placed behind the single headlamp. While its original coachwork and race-ready Paris-Amsterdam specification make it an especially collectible early example of the car, this model was also the first production car to feature a standard steering wheel as opposed to a tiller.
You might assume that something of this age and provenance likely sits in a museum or in someone’s collection as an example of what cars once were. Thankfully, however, you would be wrong. This 127-year-old automobile is a proven participant in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, having secured three first-place finishes to its name. It sold for a whopping $1,380,000, and we can only hope its new owner continues the tradition by racing it in the 2025 London to Brighton Run.

Might be wrong but it looks more like a Q series to me
Well you aren’t always wrong……. This is the first time I can think of actually , lol. So AI ( almost intelligent) says G , from a few different sources. At any rate it’s a good looking machine.

AI is responsible for my antique sales site being banned. AI considered my post of a Remington silk banner a weapon. So much for AI .... Patiently waiting now for Gemini to chime in over the word Remington...

Was this a result of it scanning an image or text or could you tell ? Check Billy Bob post 5094 . I’ve been wondering about this . As we have seen it certainly can be overzealous depending on how it’s configured and deployed. One thing I find interesting though is how many people when they hear AI search automatically distrust and dismiss it. Interesting because “ conventional “ search has been using algorithms to “ scrape “ the web to return the requested results for years. All that’s basically different with “ AI “ is that it brings the most relevant results together in one shot instead of making you try to find your answer one click one site at a time so you can be fed advertising. It’s the old “ well that’s the way we have always done it “ mindset I guess.

I have no idea how AI decides than a banner flag is a weapon. I appealed the decision but unfortunately AI reviews the appeals as well and still banned me from posting or even entering a FB sale site. The way "we have always done it", I use to be able to appeal to someone who wasn't artificial. Not anymore.

Ya. That is totally unreasonable . I’m sure you tried to get a human on the phone but of course you can’t even do that anymore. No doubt you have tried all avenues but you never know so I dug this up . Ironically it’s from AI search but there might be something in there you hadn’t come across before. Good luck with your battle.
